Infrastructure and investment

KTR urged governments to build on Hyderabad's IT development over the past decade by supporting investment in data and AI. He said the city should attract international investors in those sectors, noting that the previous government had introduced special policies to encourage investment and the establishment of companies.

He argued that governments should focus on supplying dependable electricity, water and good roads while letting businesses operate without unnecessary interference. "Governments should provide an encouraging environment for investments rather than creating hurdles," he said.

According to Telangana Today, he also warned both the state and central governments against using enforcement agencies to harass private company managements. He named the ED, CBI, Income Tax and local enforcement authorities, saying businesses that provide employment should not face such harassment.

Preparing workers for technological change

KTR said young people needed confidence and preparation for emerging employment opportunities, rather than fear of AI. "It is not right to see AI as a ghost or demon. Instead of instilling fear, we must build confidence among the youth. AI will not take away jobs; we need to embrace new employment opportunities," he said.

As a historical comparison, he recalled opposition to the introduction of computers in banking. He argued that technological revolutions initially cause apprehension but eventually open avenues for growth. He pointed to Swiggy, Zomato, Zepto and Blinkit as examples of technology-based businesses creating employment.

He linked large-scale youth employment to private-sector expansion and urged people to develop, update and broaden their skills as the IT sector changes.

KTR also described AI as bringing major changes to agriculture, medicine and education. Citing the "Saagu-Baagu" initiative in Sircilla, he said technology could help farmers recognize crop pests and find timely solutions.
