Documents, firsthand accounts and story leads go to [email protected]. An editor reads every tip personally; nothing is screened out by software. If your material is sensitive, say so at the top of your message and hold back the documents until we agree on a secure channel together. Report an error
Wrong name, wrong number, wrong quote? Write to [email protected] or use the correction link on the article page. Include the URL and a sentence describing what is wrong. An editor reviews each report individually, and none is dismissed unread. What happens next is laid out in the Corrections Policy.
