Rallies fail to halt the decline
The stock entered the 52-week period trading above $40. Since then, brief stretches of stability have repeatedly ended in further declines, 24/7 Wall St. reported. An earlier update from the outlet recorded an $8.00 low and a $242 million market capitalization.
The latest decline makes $7.79 the price to watch for signs of stabilization or another move lower. For a streaming company competing for sports rights and subscribers, 24/7 Wall St. described the valuation as reflecting substantial investor skepticism about its path to profitability.
Disney ownership and a leadership change
Fubo's ownership changed when its combination with Disney's Hulu + Live TV closed on October 29, 2025. The Walt Disney Company now holds roughly 70% of both the equity and voting power through Class B common shares issued to its Hulu subsidiary. Public investors own approximately 30% through Class A shares, according to RevenueMemo.
Fubo remains separately listed on the New York Stock Exchange under FUBO and identifies itself as a Disney affiliate in its investor relations materials. RevenueMemo reports that a 1-for-12 reverse stock split, completed March 23, 2026, left about 29.4 million Class A shares and 79.0 million Class B shares outstanding.
Alisa Bowen took over as CEO on July 10, 2026, after nearly a decade at Disney, where she had served as president of Disney+. She replaced co-founder David Gandler, whose tenure leading Fubo spanned 11 years. Gandler also resigned from the board rather than seek re-election at the July 2026 annual meeting, according to RevenueMemo.
Channel dispute, results and financial targets
A carriage dispute interrupted Fubo's NBCUniversal programming after the Disney combination. NBCUniversal withdrew its channels in November 2025, weeks after the transaction closed, and they remained unavailable until a distribution agreement was announced in June 2026. RevenueMemo reports that Fubo increased prices during the period of partial channel restoration.
In results released August 5 for its fiscal third quarter ended June 30, 2026, Fubo reported $1.482 billion in global revenue and a $25.7 million net loss, or $0.25 per share. Adjusted EBITDA was $19.1 million. The company counted 5.75 million paid subscribers in North America, a 2% year-over-year increase that it called a third-quarter record, along with 356,000 subscribers in the rest of the world.
The August report also raised the lower end of Fubo's fiscal 2026 Pro Forma Adjusted EBITDA guidance: the range became $90 million to $100 million, compared with $80 million to $100 million previously. Fubo maintained its fiscal 2028 Adjusted EBITDA target of at least $300 million and said its current operating plan still calls for positive free cash flow in both fiscal 2027 and fiscal 2028.
