Emergency response on Simril Court
MEDIC crews were called to the 16000 block of Simril Court at about 5:30 p.m. They found one person with life-threatening injuries and took the victim to a local hospital, where the person later died.
WSOC reported that no further details were available.
Separate investigation on High Meadow Lane
CMPD's newsroom also listed a homicide investigation on Oct. 24 in the 700 block of High Meadow Lane, within the Steele Creek Division. That listing concerns a separate case at a different location, not the death on Simril Court.
